Denis Scheck is a German literary critic and cultural journalist working in television and radio. He is best known as the host of the ARD book programme Druckfrisch. For two decades he was the literature editor at Deutschlandfunk in Cologne, and he studied German studies, political science and contemporary history in Tübingen, Düsseldorf and Dallas.
