GFOTY (Girlfriend of the Year) is the stage name of London-born singer and producer Polly-Louisa Salmon (b. 1990), who became one of the founding figures of the PC Music collective after signing with A. G. Cook's label in 2013. Her music - exaggerated, adrenaline-charged dance-pop delivered with a spoken-word edge and a sharp, often darkly comic wit - helped define the hyperpop aesthetic a decade before the genre went mainstream. After leaving PC Music in 2018 she has released music independently via her own Girlfriend Records imprint.
A remix of GFOTY's single GRWM (eww) by producer izid99 was released in March 2026.

GFOTY released her surprise album INFLUENZER on 14 March 2025, her first full-length in several years, covered by Stereogum.
