Giuseppe Ottaviani (born 12 November 1978 in Viterbo, Italy) is a DJ, producer and live-act who has spent three decades shaping the sound of trance. He started out as one half of NU NRG before going solo in 2005, and has since built a reputation for performing entirely live - playing keyboards and synthesizers on stage rather than mixing pre-recorded sets. In 2025 he launched the OTTAGON alias, a project that bridges trance and melodic techno using a striking live setup of eight Novation MIDI keyboards arranged in an octagon.
Ottaviani released 'Eight', the debut 12-track album under his OTTAGON alias, on Armada Music on 2 May 2025.
The OTTAGON live show made its Dreamstate Europe debut in April 2025, the second time the concept had been performed live.
Ottaviani officially launched the OTTAGON alias in January 2025 with debut single 'Find You' on Armada Music.
Ottaviani performed at A State of Trance 2025 in Rotterdam.
Ottaviani entered the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs list at position 98 in 2024.
