About

Hélène Grimaud (born 7 November 1969 in Aix-en-Provence) is a French classical pianist and exclusive Deutsche Grammophon artist since 2002, celebrated for interpretations that critics have likened to Glenn Gould in their fearless reinvention of phrasing. She has performed with the Berliner Philharmoniker, New York Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra and most of the world's leading ensembles, and has earned awards including the Echo Klassik, Diapason d'or and Cannes Classical Recording of the Year. Beyond the concert hall, she founded the Wolf Conservation Center in South Salem, New York in 1999 and has published four books.
