Israel Vibration is a Jamaican roots reggae group from Kingston, formed in the mid-1970s by Lascelle "Wiss" Bulgin, Cecil "Skelly" Spence, and Albert "Apple Gabriel" Craig - three men who first met as children at the Mona Rehabilitation Clinic, all survivors of Jamaica's 1950s polio epidemic. Their 1978 debut album The Same Song, backed by the Twelve Tribes of Israel, launched them to international recognition, and they went on to open for Bob Marley and Dennis Brown. After the deaths of Craig (2020) and Spence (2022), founding member Wiss Bulgin continues to lead the group, backed by the legendary Roots Radics.
Israel Vibration & Roots Radics launched the US leg of the 'Reggae Music Never Dies' World Tour in May 2025, following 20 shows across South America and France.
The album 'Reggae Music Never Dies', produced by Aston Barrett Jr. and featuring the final recordings of Cecil 'Skelly' Spence, was released on February 28, 2025.
Israel Vibration & Roots Radics completed a 13-date tour of France in March-April 2025 as part of their world tour.
Co-founder Cecil 'Skelly' Spence died on August 26, 2022, in Brooklyn, New York, from lung cancer at age 69.
Co-founder Albert 'Apple Gabriel' Craig, who had left the group in 1997 for a solo career, died on March 23, 2020.
