About

Jinjer is a Ukrainian progressive groove metal band formed in 2009 in Horlivka, near Donetsk, and signed to Napalm Records since 2016. The four-piece - vocalist Tatiana Shmayluk, guitarist Roman Ibramkhalilov, bassist Eugene Abdukhanov and drummer Vladislav Ulasevich - built a global following through relentless touring and a sound that weaves groove metal, djent and progressive rock with flashes of reggae and funk. Their 2016 single "Pisces", which showcases Shmayluk's instant switch between melodic singing and deep growl, went viral and remains one of the most-streamed metal tracks of the decade. Fifth studio album Duél (February 2025, Napalm Records) charted at #2 on the US Hard Music chart.
