About
Kazik Staszewski (born 12 March 1963 in Warsaw) is a Polish singer, lyricist and saxophonist, best known as the frontman and co-founder of Kult, one of Poland's most enduring rock bands since 1982. His music spans punk rock, reggae, folk and politically charged poetry, and his solo debut 'Spalam się' (1991) is considered one of the first Polish rap albums. Over four decades he has built a reputation for uncompromising social commentary, releasing work both with Kult and under his own name.
