Miriam Hanika

Miriam Hanika is a German singer, oboist and composer from Munich who works at the intersection of chamber music, art-pop and jazz. She plays oboe and cor anglais as her main instruments, often processing them into dreamlike textures. In 2024 she received the Hanns Seidel Foundation award for young songwriters; in 2021 she won a music grant from the city of Munich. With her ensemble das kleine Poesieorchester she released the album "Louise" and is preparing a new record, "Licht".
