Miriam Hanika & das kleine Poesieorchester present their new album "Licht" at Schlossberghalle Starnberg ahead of its official release. This versatile ensemble of multi-instrumentalists moves between chamber music, art-pop, and jazz - with oboe and English horn as imaginatively transformed lead instruments.

Miriam Hanika's work has been recognized with multiple awards: in 2024 she received the Hanns Seidel Foundation's promotion prize for young songwriters, and in 2021 the City of Munich's music scholarship. With the Dandelion Quintet, she won first prize at the international Ars Ventus competition for chamber music in 2019. Her second album "Louise" (2021) was nominated for the German Record Critics' Prize.
