Molotov is a Mexican rock band formed in Mexico City in September 1995, consisting of Micky Huidobro, Tito Fuentes, Paco Ayala and Randy "El Gringo Loco" Ebright. Their sound fuses rock, hip-hop, funk and punk through a distinctive twin-bass lineup, with bilingual lyrics that take sharp aim at political power and social inequality. The debut album ¿Dónde Jugarán las Niñas? (1997) triggered censorship and a Grammy nomination in the same breath, and the band has since sold over four million records worldwide, winning four Latin Grammy Awards.
Molotov played Guadalajara's Plaza de Toros Nuevo Progreso as part of their 'Txxxour 30 Aniversario' world tour, with founding-era guitarist Jay de la Cueva back in the lineup.

Molotov released a new song at the Vive Latino festival on 15 March 2025 - a track originally written in 1998 - marking their 30th anniversary year.
In January 2025, Molotov announced a world tour spanning 14 countries to celebrate their 30th anniversary.
