Rage against the machine by Maggie's farm
A tribute to Rage Against the Machine by Maggie's farm. An energetic concert for fans of classic rock and hip-hop.
Rage Against the Machine is an American rock band from Los Angeles, formed in 1991 by vocalist Zack de la Rocha, guitarist Tom Morello, bassist Tim Commerford, and drummer Brad Wilk. Their music fuses heavy metal, funk, hip-hop, and punk with fiercely anti-authoritarian, anti-capitalist lyrics - a combination that made them one of the defining acts of the 1990s. Both Evil Empire (1996) and The Battle of Los Angeles (1999) debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, and the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2023. In January 2024, drummer Brad Wilk announced that the band would not be touring or playing live again.
Drummer Brad Wilk announced in an Instagram post that Rage Against the Machine 'will not be touring or playing live again.'
Rage Against the Machine were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on November 3, 2023; guitarist Tom Morello was the only member present at the ceremony.
Frontman Zack de la Rocha skipped the Rock Hall induction ceremony and was photographed the following day at a March on Washington calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.
De la Rocha tore his Achilles tendon during the second show of the 2022 reunion tour, leading to the cancellation of all remaining and future tour dates.
The band released 'Live on Tour 1993,' a live album documenting their early touring years, in 2025.
