About
OK KID is a German pop-rap trio from Gießen, formed in 2012 by Jonas Schubert, Raffael Kühle and Moritz Rech - growing out of the earlier band Jona:S, which the three had been part of since 2006. Their name combines the titles of two Radiohead albums, and their self-described sound, 'Broken Pop', draws on hip-hop directness, indie guitar textures and introspective German-language lyrics. Four studio albums charted in the German top ten, including Zwei (2016, #6 in Germany and Austria), and their song 'Am Ende' appeared on the official FIFA 14 soundtrack.
