The Philharmonisches Orchester der Stadt Trier is the municipal symphony orchestra of Trier, one of Germany's oldest cities. It covers a wide repertoire and serves as the city's main orchestral ensemble, working closely with Theater Trier. The orchestra is currently led by General Music Director Jochem Hochstenbach.
