Ragnhild Hemsing is a Norwegian violinist and Hardanger fiddle player who grew up in a musical family in the Valdres valley. She has played both instruments since childhood, and Norwegian folk tradition runs through her work as a constant thread. She performs with major European orchestras and regularly premieres new works written for her.
