Shpongle is a British psychedelic electronic project founded in 1996 by Simon Posford and Raja Ram, originating from Chobham, Surrey. The duo are widely credited as pioneers of the psybient genre - a blend of world music, ambient and psychedelic trance - and have released six studio albums on Twisted Records, from the debut Are You Shpongled? (1998) through to Codex VI (2017). Posford handles synthesis and production while Raja Ram contributes flute arrangements and broad musical vision.
Shpongle streamed the world premiere of Simon Posford's live Mission Ballroom (Denver) shows from April 2025 over two nights on November 21-22, 2025.
Simon Posford announced a rare US live return for Shpongle, kicking off with two nights at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York, on April 11-12, 2025.

Shpongle is scheduled to perform at the Electric Forest festival in Rothbury, Michigan, in late June 2026, followed by two-night stands in Denver and Oakland in October 2026.
Shpongle played a show at the Troxy in London in May 2026, one of their rare European appearances.
