Sworn Enemy is a metalcore band from Queens, New York City, active since 1997 - originally under the name Mindset before settling on their current name in 1999. Fronted throughout by vocalist Sal LoCoco, the band blends New York hardcore punk with thrash and heavy metal, tackling themes of perseverance, social injustice and anti-fascism. Their 2003 Elektra Records debut 'As Real as It Gets' broke them to a wider audience via Ozzfest and tours with Anthrax, and the band has kept releasing and touring ever since, with their most recent album 'Gamechanger' (2019) produced by Machine Head's Robb Flynn.
