Tomasz Kot (born 21 April 1977 in Legnica) is a Polish film, television, and theatre actor with over 30 film credits and 26 stage roles to his name. He broke through nationally with his portrayal of blues singer Ryszard Riedel in Skazany na bluesa (2005), then became a household name playing cardiac surgeon Zbigniew Religa in Bogowie (2014), winning the Polish Eagle Award for Best Actor. International recognition came with Paweł Pawlikowski's Cold War (2018), which earned him a European Film Award nomination and placed him firmly on the European arthouse map.
