About
Wolf Eyes is an American experimental noise duo from Michigan, formed in 1996 by Nate Young and later joined by John Olson. Over nearly three decades they have released hundreds of recordings - on cassette, lathe cut, CD-R and vinyl - across labels including Sub Pop, Third Man Records and their own Lower Floor Music, making them one of the most prolific and uncompromising acts in the US underground. The pair describe their sound as 'psycho jazz': a collision of handmade electronics, mutant reeds, industrial noise and freeform improvisation that has drawn collaborators from Anthony Braxton to Merzbow.
