Zucchero - Overdose D'Amore GOLD Tour 2026
Italian singer Zucchero brings his GOLD Tour 2026 to Frankfurt, performing his greatest hits.
Zucchero, born Adelmo Fornaciari on 25 September 1955 in Roncocesi near Reggio Emilia, is an Italian singer-songwriter widely credited as the "father of Italian blues" for bringing the genre to mainstream stages in Italy. His music draws on gospel, soul, blues and rock, and over a four-decade career he has sold more than 60 million records worldwide, collaborating with artists ranging from Miles Davis and Eric Clapton to Bono and Luciano Pavarotti. Internationally he is best known for "Senza una donna" (with Paul Young), "Diamante" and "Baila (Sexy Thing)", and he remains one of the very few European blues artists to sustain genuine global success.
Zucchero announced an Italian stadium leg of the Overdose d'Amore World Tour for July 2026, celebrating the 25th anniversary of "Baila (Sexy Thing)".
Zucchero set an all-time record at the Arena di Verona, drawing 720,000 spectators across 66 concerts at the amphitheatre.
The documentary film "Zucchero - Sugar Fornaciari", directed by Valentina Zanella and Giangiacomo De Stefano, became available on Amazon Prime Video after festival screenings in Italy, Austria, Germany and the Americas.
Zucchero released "Discover II", the second volume of his covers project, featuring personal reinterpretations of songs that shaped his life.
A new duet version of "Overdose (d'Amore)" with Italian rapper Salmo was released as part of the ongoing Overdose d'Amore World Tour campaign.
