Gianna Nannini is an Italian rock singer-songwriter born on 14 June 1956 in Siena, who has been one of the most distinctive voices in European rock since the late 1970s. Her raw, powerful voice and relentless stage energy made her a household name across Italy and the German-speaking world, with albums such as Latin Lover (1982) and Profumo (1986) charting across Europe. She has released 22 studio albums over a 50-year career, and a Netflix biopic, Beautiful Rebel (Sei nell'anima, 2024), brought her story to a new generation of fans.
Nannini released 'AMERICA INC.' (feat. Marracash, produced by Dardust) on 3 July 2026, a rework of her 1979 classic 'America', as the first chapter of the GiannaGold project on Universal Music.
Nannini announced the GiannaGold project - a two-year anniversary celebration of her 1976 debut - headlined by a symphonic rock show at Berlin's Waldbühne on 19 September 2026, her first performance there since 1988.
The GiannaGold Berlin concert also marks the start of Nannini's new partnership with Vivo Concerti and her return to Universal Music.
Nannini released the single 'PANORAMA' in May 2025, her first new music following the 2024 album 'Sei nell'anima'.
The 'Sei nell'anima' indoor tour launched in November 2024 with sold-out dates at Olympiahalle Munich, Hallenstadion Zurich, and three Italian arenas, totalling over 30 sold-out shows across Italy, Germany and Switzerland by end of 2025.
