Hanno Busch - Perspective

With Perspective, guitarist and composer Hanno Busch releases his new album. Joined by Matthew Halpin (saxophone), Jonas Burgwinkel (drums) and Simon Jermyn (bass), he performs compositions that move between jazz and contemporary pop - between contemplation and unrest, silence and erupting energy.

Following Share This Room (Frutex Tracks, 2017), which won the Echo Jazz award, Busch continues on Perspective to explore the contradictions of the present: efficiency and a lack of empathy, rapid communication and genuine listening. In March 2026, his work was recognised with the WDR Jazzpreis.

Perspective is released on LP; the artwork was created by Daniel F. Hirth, visually connecting to Share This Room and Absent.
