Concert III

Concert III takes place on Sunday, 13 September 2026 at 18:00 in Nikolaikirche, Kiel. Mahela Reichstatt, organist at Schleswig Cathedral, is one of three musicians performing on the church's newly restored organ as part of a German tour. He is joined by Magne Draagen and Volkmar Zehner. The programme features major organ works by Mendelssohn, Bach, Messiaen, and Norwegian Romantic composers. Nikolaikirche, the oldest surviving church in the city, dates to the 14th century and houses a medieval bronze baptismal font. The church regularly hosts organ concerts and recitals. Admission: 12 €.
