Summer Cabaret 2026 - Herkuleskeule moves into the greenhouse

Five weeks of political cabaret among the potted plants: Herkuleskeule is back in the greenhouse at Gartenbau Rülcker!

The Bundestag sits beneath the glass dome of the Reichstag in Berlin; the cabaret artists of Herkuleskeule spend their summer scrutinising politics in the glass greenhouse at Gartenbau Rülcker in Dresden-Strehlen. From 29 July through the whole of August 2026, it's Summer Cabaret time again - Herkuleskeule moves into the greenhouse! This year the show revolves around a shared flat looking for a new tenant - hence the slightly unusual title "9m² - 800 kalt". And here's a small spoiler: the performance turns into something of a flat-viewing appointment...

Last summer's run of "Nur die Harten komm' in Garten!" was so popular that every single show sold out, so the troupe is once again venturing out of their basement theatre into the open air. Author Philipp Schaller will again cultivate sharp political punchlines. "9m² - 800 kalt" is performed by Beate Laaß, Johanna Mucha and Jens Eulenberger, with musical support from the Herkuleskeule band featuring Jens Wagner and Volker Fiebig. It will get heated again in the air-conditioned greenhouse as the performers dig into the murky world of opinion-making - sparing no sensibilities on left or right, and offering no easy answers. Schaller is happy to leave the thinking to the audience. Direction is once again in the hands of seasoned cabaret artist Ellen Schaller. Mark your viewing appointment now!
