Concert amarcord - Immortal Beauty - Sounds of Timeless Beauty

The Leipzig vocal ensemble amarcord performs "Immortal Beauty" on Sunday, 27 September 2026 at 5 p.m. in Liebfrauenkirche, Schotten. This is one of two German dates on the ensemble's tour. The Liebfrauenkirche is a late-Gothic hall church from the 14th and 15th centuries, among the most significant medieval churches in the Vogelsberg region of Hesse, and houses valuable historical furnishings including medieval altars. The programme spans Renaissance to contemporary music: luminous hymns by Josquin des Prez and Orlando di Lasso, the spiritual clarity of Arvo Pärt, romantic nocturnes by Schubert and Debussy, and arrangements of folk songs from Japan and Ireland. Admission: €23.20.
