About

amarcord is a vocal quintet from Leipzig whose five singers - two tenors, a baritone and two basses - blend classical a cappella tradition with jazz. The group has earned international recognition, including for their recording of Renaissance polyphony by Josquin des Prez. Since 2023 they hold a teaching post in ensemble singing at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Leipzig.
