3. Albstädter Bildkonzert - "Zeiten erleben"

On a journey through musical epochs, the concert choir Eintracht Ebingen e.V. together with members of the Rastatt Baroque Orchestra presents an entertaining concert on the theme of "Times of Day and Year".

The programme features "The Times of Day" by Georg Philipp Telemann, "Seasons" by contemporary composer Andy Beck, and selected movements from "The Seasons" by Joseph Haydn. A fascinating listening experience is offered by "Missa Vivaldi": new choral works in Latin based on themes from "The Four Seasons" by Antonio Vivaldi.

The Eintracht choir gladly performs folk songs rarely heard today in arrangements by Friedrich Silcher. Orchestral works and solo pieces by Beethoven, Mozart, Mendelssohn and Richter, fitting the theme, complete the diverse programme.

Images from travels - travel sketches, watercolours and other works - by Irene Bögle, Andreas Florian and Wolfgang Wiebe support the concert in a brilliant way through large projections on the stage backdrop.
