Symphony Concerts 26/27 - Subscription

The Symphonic Concerts 26/27 take place at Stadtkulturhaus Borna on Sunday, 20 September 2026. Conductor Guido Johannes Rumstadt leads a series of six evenings combining film music, jazz premieres, and works by Beethoven and Smetana with guest soloists. This is one of two German dates for the cycle. The opening concert focuses on opera composers-Puccini, Wagner, Mascagni, and Bizet-presenting their symphonic voice away from the opera stage, complemented by Carl Maria von Weber's Second Symphony. Each evening brings a different programme and fresh approach to the classical repertoire.
