Shortly before the start of Würzburg's Hafensommer, the Dresden duo ÄTNA must cancel their participation due to production-related reasons. For the concert evening on 1 August 2026, the Hafensommer team has quickly secured an equally exceptional replacement: Bulgarian Cartrader will perform alongside Moses Yoofee Trio on the floating stage at the Old Harbour.
Bulgarian Cartrader blends hypnotic indie-pop with jazz, creating distinctive music sets that captivate both ear and eye. Behind the project stands Daniel Stoyanov, whose songs are driven by warm melodies, groovy rhythms, and a broad musical openness. In his music and visual work, Stoyanov processes autobiographical experiences, his Bulgarian roots, and social themes - always in a subtle, humorous, and musically diverse manner.
Live, this blend unfolds in full force: with charismatic stage presence, infectious energy, and a tightly rehearsed band, the concerts invite audiences to dance and immerse themselves equally. Alongside "Greetings from Soulgaria," new compositions will also be presented on the Hafensommer stage.
Already confirmed is Moses Yoofee Trio, whose music emerges from improvisation and spontaneous jam sessions. The three musicians combine influences from modern jazz, pop, and Afrobeats into a distinctive sound marked by intuition, experimental spirit, and emotional depth. Moses Yoofee Trio won the German Jazz Prize 2026 in the "Best Debut Album of the Year" category.
