Moses Yoofee Trio is a Berlin-based jazz trio formed in 2020, led by pianist and producer Moses Yoofee Vester alongside bassist Roman Klobe-Barangă and drummer Noah Fürbringer. Signed to Nils Frahm's LEITER label, the group blends jazz with hip-hop, R&B, soul and Afrobeat influences, drawing comparisons to Robert Glasper and Yussef Dayes. Their 2025 debut album 'MYT' earned them the German Jazz Prize for Live Act of the Year and landed on multiple year-end best-of lists.
Moses Yoofee Trio released their new six-track EP 'Chasing Light' on May 29, 2026 via LEITER, on vinyl and all digital platforms.
'Chasing Light' debuted at #30 on the UK Official Charts, following 'MYT' which had peaked at #18 in 2025.
The trio is currently touring across Europe in summer 2026, with dates including Wrocław, Poznan, Hamburg, Madrid, Stockholm and Schloss Elmau.
Their debut full-length album 'MYT' was released on February 7, 2025 via Nils Frahm's LEITER label, recorded partly at Glaswald Studios near Stuttgart.
Moses Yoofee Trio won the German Jazz Prize for Live Act of the Year in 2024.
