This major expansion of the popular "Roboterkabinett" brings together more than 1,000 toy robots, space toys, comic figures, advertising products, and folk art from the collection of former Vitra Chairman Rolf Fehlbaum. Industry, popular culture, and fairy-tale fantasy converge in a modern-day Wunderkammer.

The Wunderkammer can only be visited as part of public guided tours. The exhibition is not suitable for children under 13.

About the venue: Vitra Schaudepot

The Vitra Schaudepot is an open storage museum on the Vitra Campus in Weil am Rhein, designed by Herzog & de Meuron and opened in 2016. It houses over 400 pieces from Vitra's furniture collection - chairs, sofas and lamps spanning more than a century of design history - displayed on open shelving so visitors can see the full depth of the archive. Talks, guided tours and temporary exhibitions complement the permanent display.
