Special: Building together: Weil Chair (DE)

In this special format of the Weil Chair workshop, two participants work as a team to build one Weil Chair together.

The price per ticket is €150.00. Two tickets must be purchased for the two people who will build the chair together.

Affordable design for everyone - this idea is as old as design itself and remains as relevant as ever. Berlin-based designer and architect Van Bo Le-Mentzel brings the concept into the digital age: the construction plans for many of his furniture pieces can be downloaded online and built at home. For this workshop, Le-Mentzel designed a chair specifically for the occasion - the Weil Chair - which participants build under expert guidance.

Kits made from pine wood are provided as the building material. Under professional supervision, participants drill, glue, and assemble the parts into a finished chair. After the workshop, you can take your chair home and oil, stain, or varnish it however you like.
