Blasorchester Salinia Sülze e.V. - Culture in the Courtyard

Blasorchester Salinia Sülze e.V. performs as part of "Culture in the Courtyard" on the open-air stage at CD-Kaserne. The orchestra currently comprises around 50 active musicians aged 12 to over 60; the association itself now has more than 160 members.

This year's seasonal programme is titled "Walking on Sunshine" and blends modern pieces with traditional brass music. The repertoire includes "Walking on Sunshine" by Katrina & The Waves, "Leuchtturm" by Nena, a medley of songs by Fury in the Slaughterhouse, "Kaiserin Sissi Marsch" by Timo Dellweg, and the polka "A scheene Zeit" by Johannes Guggenmos - plus many more pieces.

Before the main orchestra's concert, the Salinia Minions perform - the association's youth brass orchestra for children and young people aged 8 to 18.

Admission from 7 p.m. Drinks and snacks (pretzels, peanuts, etc.) are available on site. CD-Kaserne gGmbH is supported by Sparkasse Celle-Gifhorn-Wolfsburg.
