FreiKultur - LILOU

FreiKultur 2026 brings seven evenings of live music to the courtyard of CD Kaserne in Celle, supported by Sparkasse Celle-Gifhorn-Wolfsburg. The concept is straightforward: musicians from across Germany perform without unnecessary effects, authentically and on equal footing with the audience. Admission is voluntary - guests decide for themselves how much to pay, and the money goes directly to the artists.

On Saturday, 29 August 2026, LILOU takes the stage at 19:30, followed by a screening of Burlesque at 22:00. LILOU combines cinematic soundscapes from piano, synthesizers, and guitars with vivid lyrics that balance personal intimacy and social observation. The Cologne-based artist produces her own music and consistently realizes her unique vision. Beyond the stage, she advocates for greater visibility of FLINTA* in the music industry.

The courtyard opens 30 minutes before the start. Deck chairs, picnic tables, and folding chairs are available. Visitors may bring their own picnic baskets with food, but outside beverages are not permitted - drinks are available on site.
