The Musketeer's Daughter - Final Performance
Naturtheater Renningen e.V., Germany
France, 1654. Aurélie, the daughter of D'Artagnan - now captain of the royal musketeers - lives in a convent a few miles from Paris. One night, she and her friend Bernadette accidentally learn of D'Artagnan's violent death and a conspiracy against the royal family. Overcome with rage and grief, Aurélie flees to Paris to seek the king's musketeers for help.
Cardinal Mazarin has already disbanded the musketeer corps, blaming them for the kidnapping of the queen. In the deserted headquarters, Aurélie and Bernadette encounter a mysterious priest and Florence, the daughter of a fencing master. Together they uncover a plot against the king - but while fleeing the cardinal's men, they are separated and Florence is arrested.
The coronation of young King Louis is drawing near: the very occasion on which he is apparently to be betrayed and murdered. The friends must find out who is behind it all before it is too late.
