Mamma Mia! - the original musical featuring ABBA's greatest hits - comes to Alte Oper Frankfurt on 24 March 2027 (Wednesday, 20:00). This is one of four German dates for the production, which also plays Munich, Stuttgart, and Leipzig. Alte Oper Frankfurt is a monumental concert hall at Opernplatz, built in 1880, restored after wartime damage, and reopened in 1981. The neo-Renaissance building provides an elegant setting for a show brimming with energy and classic melodies.

The Alte Oper Frankfurt is a grand 19th-century concert hall on Opernplatz, rebuilt after its near-total destruction in World War II and reopened in 1981. Originally opened in 1880, the neo-Renaissance building now hosts orchestral concerts, jazz, pop and international acts. Its main hall seats around 2,500 and is one of Germany's most prestigious concert venues.
