Holger Müller has spent over two decades drilling German audiences as Ausbilder Schmidt - a bellowing mock drill instructor in a faded Bundeswehr uniform who turns military clichés into sharp comedy. His current programmes 'Top Lusche de Luxe' and 'Unkraut vergeht nicht' keep the character bang up to date, tackling topics from the possible return of conscription to the horrors of a dentist fiercer than the Ausbilder himself.
