Music by Ludovico Einaudi for Piano and Strings by Candlelight

Ludovico Einaudi performs at Gewandhaus zu Leipzig on Friday, 19 March 2027 at 19:30 with a concert devoted to his compositions. The Italian composer's minimalist works will be heard on piano and strings in a candlelit setting. This is one of nine German dates on the artist's tour, running from June 2026. Gewandhaus ranks among the world's most prestigious concert halls and serves as home to the Gewandhausorchester, one of the oldest civic orchestras. The current building at Augustusplatz opened in 1981 and provides an intimate atmosphere suited to this style of musical evening.
