MDR-Sinfonieorchester and MDR-Rundfunkchor perform at Congress Centrum Suhl on Saturday, 5 September 2026 at 17:00. This closing concert of Freischütz marks the final of five German dates for the orchestra, following performances in Köthen, Hoyerswerda, Großenhain, and Leipzig. Conducted by Dennis Russell Davies, the ensemble will present works by Weber, Hindemith, and Schumann, opening with a prologue from Ethel Smyth's opera.
