The ABERLOUR'S - 25 Years of Celtic Folk'n'Beat

In 1999, Adolphi, frontman of HORCH, founded The ABERLOUR'S as support for Jethro Tull. After more than 1000 concerts and appearances at various festivals in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and England, this Celtic-Folkrock band is now touring in a trio lineup - featuring new material from their sixth album and a retrospective of over 25 years of band history.

The ABERLOUR'S are among the few German Celtic-Rock bands to have achieved international standing: they have played metal festivals like Wacken as well as classical and medieval events such as Medieval Selb. Rare acoustic instruments like cister and mandocello meet thundering grooves, melodic vocal lines blend with furious fiddle and accordion parts. Plus: wildly romantic and quirky tales from old Ireland, Scotland, England and now also German verses - carried by speedfolk, worldbeat and Celtic mystique.

Line-up:
* Adolphi - lead vocals / guitars / mandocello / cister / thunderbodhran / flutes
* Felix Klingner - violin / low whistle / guitar / vocals
* Steffen Vulpius - accordion / organ / vocals
