About the venue

The Friedrich-Wolf-Theater in Eisenhüttenstadt is a municipal theatre named after the German playwright Friedrich Wolf. Built in the 1950s as part of the planned socialist city, it stages drama, comedy and musical productions for the region of Brandenburg. The building itself is a characteristic example of East German postwar architecture.
