Alena Baeva

Violinist Alena Baeva performs in Köthen on Thursday, 27 August 2026 at 19:30 at Veranstaltungszentrum Schloss Köthen. This is one of two German dates on her current tour. The programme features works by Telemann, Mozart, and Vivaldi's Four Seasons, which Baeva will perform both as soloist and artistic director of the MDR-Sinfonieorchester. Schloss Köthen, a Baroque palace complex in the city centre, is renowned for its connection to Johann Sebastian Bach, who served as court conductor here from 1717 to 1723. The restored wings of the palace now provide an elegant setting for classical music.
