THE MUSIC

John Williams ("Star Wars", "E.T.", "Indiana Jones", "Jurassic Park") composed the music for the first three films, including the iconic "Hedwig's Theme" - the series' leitmotif - "Double Trouble", and the playful "Aunt Marge's Waltz" and "Witches, Wands and Wizards". Patrick Doyle's "Hogwarts Hymn" from the fourth film evokes the mysterious, dark world of the Triwizard Tournament. Nicholas Hooper wrote "Dumbledore's Farewell" for the fifth and sixth films, helping the musical world of Harry Potter grow and mature. Alexandre Desplat created "Lily's Theme" and scored the final two instalments - a grand and moving conclusion to the series.
