Christine Eixenberger - Volle Kontrolle

In her new solo show, Christine Eixenberger talks about what it's like to no longer be single. The relationship is solid, the housing shortage is too, so her partner moves in. "You and I" becomes "us" - with all that entails. But Chrissy has it all under control. Well, almost.
With relentless drive and enthusiasm, she tackles not only the small crises of a freshly shared household but the big ones too - because she knows: the large is reflected in the small, and vice versa. Supply chain problems, artificial intelligence, chip shortages? The trained primary school teacher meets them all with a no-nonsense DIY attitude and a biotech lab in the fridge.
As a philosophically inclined child of Generation Y, she keeps asking "why": Why does a balanced budget matter more than a functioning education system? How do the Austrians and Swiss manage to run a working rail network despite all those mountains? And why, for the love of it, is there still a breakfast crumb on the dining table in the middle of the afternoon?
