UDO JÜRGENS - Das Konzert with ALEX PARKER - & special guest

Tribute concerts celebrating Udo Jürgens with Alex Parker and a musical companion of the unforgettable entertainer! Touring from January 2027.

Alex Parker is the most frequently booked and, in the opinion of critics and fans alike, the finest interpreter of Udo Jürgens. Over 30 years and more than 1,000 performances, most recently with "Die Udo Jürgens Story", the 51-year-old Parker brings the "Udo-Jürgens-Gefühl" to the stage. In 2027, Parker launches a new Udo concert tour. From January through May and October through November 2027, approximately 80 cities are on the itinerary. Parker is accompanied by guest musicians who worked personally with Udo Jürgens. Together they aim to revive the special moments of Udo Jürgens' live concerts - from tender to euphoric, enriched with personal anecdotes - and in doing so, keep alive the legacy and influence of this exceptional artist and world star. Udo Jürgens in concert was no "typical" star or pop singer - his performances had something distinctive, timeless, almost intimate. He possessed the gift of making even performances in vast halls feel personal. Whether arena or concert hall - he spoke directly to the audience, told stories between songs and created a closeness you normally only experience at smaller venues. Songs like "Griechischer Wein", "Ich weiß, was ich will" or "Ich war noch niemals in New York" took on additional dynamism on stage because he varied the tempo, expression and dramatic arc. In the end, there remained this feeling: you had not merely heard a series of hits, but experienced an evening of substance, personality and genuine musical depth.

Alex Parker and his guests want to evoke that special feeling. Parker performs live on piano and interprets evergreens such as "Merci Cherie", "Ein ehrenwertes Haus", "Aber bitte mit Sahne", "Mit 66 Jahren".
