Monastery Concert with Thomas Reiner & Jürgen Benkö - Baroque Highlights for Trumpet and Organ

Baroque sounds from Italy and Germany featuring compositions by J.S. Bach, T. Albinoni, P. Baldassari, G.B. Viviani, and others will resound in the abbey church of Neresheim monastery.

Thomas Reiner performs as a concert soloist on the international stage and works as a university lecturer. With his distinctive sound and extensive discography, he has become a major name in the trumpet world.

His duet partner Jürgen Benkö serves as the organist at St. Lawrence Church in Bietigheim. In addition to his extensive work as a church musician, choir director, and conductor, he regularly performs at home and abroad.

The musical focus of the duo is Baroque music; its appeal lies in a fresh and contemporary interpretation of well-known and lesser-known Baroque masters.
