Monastery Concert with Thomas Reiner & Jürgen Benkö - Baroque Highlights for Trumpet and Organ
Trumpeter Thomas Reiner and organist Jürgen Benkö perform Baroque works by Bach, Albinoni and others in the abbey church of Kloster Neresheim.
Neresheim, Germany
Kloster Neresheim is a Benedictine abbey perched on a hilltop above the town of Neresheim in Baden-Württemberg. Its church, built in the 18th century to designs by Balthasar Neumann, is considered one of the finest late-Baroque sacred buildings in southern Germany. The abbey hosts concerts and cultural events, drawing visitors as much for the architecture as for the programme.

Students of the Royal Academy of Music, London round off their annual working week at Neresheim Abbey with a festive concert in the abbey church - a tradition going back to 1991.

Bruckner's Mass in D minor performed by the Philharmonic Choir Schwäbisch Gmünd in the Baroque abbey church of Neresheim. A monumental work of Romantic church music beneath the domes of Balthasar Neumann.
