New Chapter - Our most private playlist — Spessart FORUM, Bad Soden-Salmünster

Founded in late autumn 2023, the four-piece band NEW CHAPTER has quickly carved out a permanent place in the world of acoustic bands and in the hearts of their ever-growing fan base. Anyone who has experienced them perform live understands why their concerts attract exceptional audiences and often sell out weeks in advance.

Daliah Eckert (vocals, percussion), Patrick Klöckner (vocals, whistle, percussion), and band founders Matthias Baselmann (vocals, guitar) and Sebastian Eichenauer (guitar, piano, vocals) take their audience on a musical journey - sometimes moving, sometimes uplifting, always personal. With great care and sensitivity, they select German and English-language songs that you rarely hear on the radio, yet tell stories, awaken memories, and strike straight to the heart.

Whether contemplative, playful, or with a wink - each song in their three-hour concert programme touches listeners in its own way. NEW CHAPTER deliberately forgo big effects: vocals, guitar, and piano are all that's needed to create an atmosphere that cuts deep. Stripped down to the essentials, the songs gain a depth that often lies precisely in simplicity - grooving, floating, honest.

Their approximately three-hour concert programme features mostly songs that are lesser-known or perhaps never heard before. And that is exactly what creates the magic of their shows. Far from the omnipresent Top 40 charts, the four musicians of NEW CHAPTER place great value on the substantive integrity of their programme. The songs are meant to tell stories and ideally awaken memories, creating unforgettable moments of recognition: "I've experienced exactly that myself."

NEW CHAPTER concerts are like good conversations with old friends: intimate, intense, inspiring. The audience thanks them with standing ovations and leaves with the feeling of having been part of something truly special.
