Gringo Mayer takes the stage in Bad Dürkheim on Thursday, 9 July 2026, at Klosterruine Limburg - the ruins of an 11th-century monastery rising from a basalt hill above the town. This is one of six German dates on his tour. Mayer will present his new EP Ganove, supported by the band Yara. The historic concert venue, a remnant of the Salian imperial monastery, provides an unusual setting for the event. The concert is standing room only.

About the venue: Klosterruine Limburg

The Limburg Abbey ruin stands on a basalt hill above Bad Dürkheim, the remains of an 11th-century Salian imperial monastery. The church was one of the largest Romanesque buildings in the region before it fell into ruin after the Thirty Years' War. Today the open-air site hosts concerts and cultural events against a backdrop of medieval stonework.
