Gringo Mayer shakes up the music landscape once again with a bold little sensation: his new EP Ganove. Three songs that sound as if they were written on a road trip through the Midwest and recorded in the shadow of BASF's factories. It is this tension that makes Mayer so great: a dialect that doesn't feel narrow, but opens up like a wide sky.

The title single "Ganove" feels like a walk across sun-warmed asphalt on an exciting night. Featherlight riffs flow like from a rolled-down car window, pick up speed, and lead straight into an anthem full of boldness. Even on first listen, you find yourself singing along, moved. Because you feel with him, this rogue, this unwavering rose cavalier, who struggles yet loves like no one else.

Ganove comes out on October 31, 2025. The EP will be released in spring 2026.

With a proper bruise on his voice and a spectacular fireworks display of indie, pop, folk, and much more, Ludwigshafen-born Gringo Mayer released his third album "Laav" in January 2025 (#57 on the album charts). Paired with a self-assured demeanor somewhere between showman and tragicomedy, he sings with a winking lightness about the absurdities of everyday social life and tells stories from the shadiest corners of a crazy world.

The evening is supported by the band Yara.
