Description was written before the event

Under the motto "We Want to Be a Bridge," the German Youth in Europe organization (DJO) presents a concert evening on October 11, 2026, at Stadthalle Korntal that brings nations together through music. Folk music groups from several countries perform traditional melodies distinctive to their regions, dressed in the authentic national costumes of their homelands.

Toward the end of the concert, nearly 100 young musicians and singers from Latvia, Belarus, the Czech Republic, and Germany will take the stage together, embodying the European spirit through music. The lineup includes Egerländer Familienmusik Hess from the Neckar Valley, the group Moravia Cantat, and the Stubenmusik ensemble from Stuttgart's Adventssingen. From Latvia comes the zither ensemble BALTI, from Minsk the folk group Javor, and from Uherské Hradiště the folk group Hradistanek.

The concert is under the patronage of Manuel Hagel, Minister of the Interior of Baden-Württemberg.
