HSG Premium-Cup 2026
Euregium Nordhorn, Germany
20 €
Top-level international handball returns to Nordhorn on 15 and 16 August, when the Euregium hosts the third edition of the HSG Premium Cup.
The field is now complete: defending champions FC Barcelona face last year's finalists Füchse Berlin, French champions Paris St. Germain - making their debut in the tournament - and hosts HSG Nordhorn-Lingen.
The 2025 final in Lingen ended 27:27, with Barcelona eventually winning on penalty throws. In the semi-final, Barça edged HSG Nordhorn-Lingen 32:31. Anyone who was there will tell you: it was handball at its finest. Squads packed with world champions and Olympic gold medallists, alongside the home side, put on a show that lived long in the memory.
Four matches across two days, a buzzing arena and players who were genuinely approachable with fans - it all added up to a standout event, now heading into its third chapter.
The organisers at HSG Nordhorn-Lingen and Dutch player agency GRANDSLAM, led by CEO René Cloo, are working hard to deliver another spectacular occasion.
Barcelona will certainly do their part - and Dika Mem, one of their star players who is set to join Füchse Berlin in summer 2027, may well take to the court in Nordhorn.
Both semi-finals take place on Saturday, 15 August. The following day brings the third-place match and the final, followed by the trophy ceremony. Tickets are selling fast in pre-sale - there are not many left, so act quickly.
